So Daniel and I have been married for 9 months now and we honestly don’t have it figured all out but one thing that has been so helpful for us is budgeting our money so right now I’m going to talk to you ladies/gentlemen about what is helping us in this new season.

1. We have started using a mobile app called “Everydollar” and it's been so easy it starts over monthly and you put in both of your paychecks. It also starts by having you create an account then it asks you a few questions about your financial goals. I’ll leave a screenshot of it here so you know what to look out for if you decide to get it in the App store.

2. The second thing we have started doing is which this is nothing new for us but we always go to the grocery store with a list and we have a budget of 50-100 dollars to spend at the grocery store and usually we go to the store weekly to bi-weekly it just depends on what we need and when we need it. We’ve also stopped getting our cleaning products at the store. We started getting our cleaning supplies at Grove Collaborative.

3. This is seriously the easiest thing we do and that is go to a cash system during the week we both get a set amount and we can spend that however we want to spend it. I know it probably doesn’t sound thing it helps us a lot but it cuts down on what we put on our cards.

These are the 3 easy steps we follow like I said I know it doesn’t sound like a lot but it has been changing our financial game and helping us so much.

XOXO

Sarah
