I’m going to start by saying sorry I’ve kinda been MIA these past couple of months super busy with graduation and starting a full time job FINALLY the Lord provides when you need it. Now let's get into what this blog post is really about which is our first year of MARRIAGE!!!! This year has been amazing and hard all at once Daniel and I have grown so much. So we had so much fun on our honeymoon and we will never trade that for anything. Watching the Rockies play, going to the national park and hiking have all been amazing memories which I will treasure forever. We may not have done other things that married couples do like buy a house, move, or other amazing things but one thing I have learned is NEVER compare your relationship to anyone else's everyone is in their own chapter of their own story. Sarah’s highlights of marriage

Biggest hardship so far- money and learning to budget and listen to each other and I only say this because I’m a spender and definitely not very good at saving but I am learning and I’m so lucky to have someone who is able to give me grace and forgiveness when I mess up.

Biggest blessing - Well Daniel and I had been needing a new car for him because his wasn’t doing so well it seemed like every month or week something was going wrong to were it was either get it fixed with money we hadn't really saved or start looking for him a new car. So around Thanksgiving/Christmas we were out in Slaton for Christmas at the Square and we happened to drive by a Jeep for sale. So we went and looked at it not really knowing that it would be ours at Christmas. We weighed the Pros/Cons and talked to our family about this HUGE decision because neither one of us have bought a new car or anything big like that. Something else we did was pray about it and if it was God’s will we would have it and man did he ever provide for us.

Best memory- Oh my gosh this is so easy I have always been a Taylor Swift fan so when she announced she would be in Dallas I knew I had to be there after months of talking about it with Daniel we decided to go for it. We saved the money we needed to and even though we were in the nosebleeds I wouldn’t change that experience for anything.

Daniel’s highlights of marriage

Biggest hardship so far- He also agrees with me on the money front and we can only go up from here and learning together and growing with how we spend our money.

Biggest Blessing- We’ve already accomplished some of our dreams together and just the way we’ve grown together as a couple.

Best memory- the adventures we have taken together we went to Dallas in October, Ruidoso over Spring Break and now we’re planning on going back to Colorado for our 1st wedding anniversary.

Sorry his responses are short. But this first year has been hard at times but it has been so worth it I really can't believe this is my life if someone would have told me I would be married to the man of my dreams really would've thought you were crazy but I'm so blessed in this life and I can't wait to show y'all some more about our life more frequently starting tomorrow with our anniversary trip to COLORADO!!!!
